Alors en français : grumpy cat veut dire chat grincheux et son nom est tard (diminutif de tardar sauce qui signifie sauce tartare). D'après ce que j'ai trouvé sur le net, la propriétaire de ce chat a posté une vidéo avec son air grincheux et cela a inspiré les internautes (américains je pense) à faire des tas de fakes, en truquant des photos avec photoshop ou autres.

La race : certains commentaires disent que ce serait un Munchkin (ce sont des chats courts sur pattes), il me fait plutôt penser à Exotic shorthair qui a cet air mal aimable.
